The seats are HORRIBLE! They are super small and closer than the even worst airline seats. I went to see Pat Benatar last night and was so sadly disappointed in this venue.
I was so looking forward to having a new event center with big name acts so close to home (Doylestown). I have been to 100's of shows and this was my least favorite venue. I may sound like a Debbie Downer but I wont go back to Parx to see a show. It is a fire hazzard which leads once again to the point that the staff was not prepared to handle a large crowd. I thought it was bizarre that security or the people who worked there didnt make them get out of the aisle. Then there ended up being alot of people trying to watch the show in the aisle. They were super annoying because they were blocking everyones view of the stage. Seriously though who wants to drink BUD/BUD LIGHT? We had great seats but there was a couple who thought that it was ok to stand in the aisle and watch the show. There was 1 woman doing her best with a man pouring drinks into plastic cups. There were 100's of people waiting to get a drink to take into the concert. The staff except for security did not seem prepared for a concert.
I'm not even sure where to begin.We went to see Jerry Cantrell who we have seen many times. Regretfully I write this with dissapointment.Parx Excite Center is not the place to see a show.
